Katarina Fiorentino Klatzkow

Writer, Marketing and Communications

Kat is a Writer with the Marketing and Communications team in the Office of the Dean at the College of Public Health and Health Professions. She assists the Communications Director with storytelling and branding initiatives, strategic communication efforts, and content creation for the college. She enjoys serving as a collaborator and developer, crafting distinct publications to uplift, elevate, and advance the college’s mission. She is passionate about establishing genuine connections with audiences and promoting the incredible achievements of PHHP faculty, staff, and students.

Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, she hung up her snow boots in favor of Florida sunshine, attending the University of Florida for her undergraduate studies. A PHHP alumna, she received her Bachelor of Health Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. When she’s not buried behind her computer writing, Kat can be found exploring beautiful state parks, beaches, and natural preserves with her husband and sweet pup (Maddie), spending quality time with her family and friends, petting dogs, daydreaming about travel adventures, and persistently searching for the best cannoli in Florida.
