Hello PHHP Alumni and Friends,

It has been an honor to be at the College of Public Health and Health Professions for the past several months. I have enjoyed learning all about the college and departments, as well as meeting and connecting with some of you. I wanted to share a few updates from the development and alumni affairs department.

You have probably received a request through mail or email asking that you complete our alumni survey. If you have not done so already, I encourage you all to please visit surveymonkey.com/s/PHHPAlumniSurvey and take a few minutes to fill out this short 16-question survey. Your responses will help the development and alumni affairs staff better serve our alumni and friends and assist with future programming. And, for your generous time and thoughtful opinions, you will be entered into a raffle to win two football tickets to the Ole Miss game on Saturday, October 3, as well as tickets to the college’s reunion weekend!

Which leads me to the next topic, reunion weekend. Save the date for the 2015 College of Public Health and Health Professions Alumni Reunion on Friday, October 2 and Saturday, October 3. Registration and ticket information will be available in mid to late summer.

Thank you for you for all that you have done and do for the college. It has been a privilege to work with such caring alumni and friends. I am honored to work at such a prestigious college that is preserving, promoting and improving the health and well-being of populations, communities and individuals. Because of your thoughtful support in education, research and service, the college is able to continue its mission and goals. With your support we are able to achieve so much more, and for that I thank you. For more information on how you can support the college, please contact me at 352-273-6540 or lmstevens@phhp.ufl.edu.

Go Gators!
