Steven George, Ph.D., P.T., an associate professor in the department of physical therapy, was named one of the world’s top 10 experts in the research and treatment of back pain by Expertscape.
Mark Hart, Ph.D., aresearch assistant scientist in the department of behavioral science and community health, received the Best Paper Award at the Annual Society for Informational Technology and Teacher Education conference.
Andrew Judge, Ph.D., an associate professor in the department of physical therapy, received a UF Excellence Award for Assistant Professors from the UF Provost’s Office.
Edward Lobarinas, Ph.D., an assistant professor in the department of speech, language, and hearing sciences, was selected to attend the 2014 Jerger Future Leaders of Audiology Conference.
Arch Mainous III, Ph.D., chair of the department of health services research, management and policy, authored a paper that was selected by the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine as one of two honorable mentions for the best published research paper in the past year by a society member. He was also appointed to a three-year term on the editorial board of the journal BMJ Open.
Darryl Pastor, M.P.H., project manager for HealthStreet in the UF department of epidemiology, received the UF Center for Leadership and Service’s 2014 Leadership and Service Advocate of the Year award.
Catherine Price, Ph.D., an associate professor in the department of clinical and health psychology, is one of 33 UF scientists named UF Research Foundation Professors for 2014.
Ronald Rozensky, Ph.D., a professor in the department of clinical and health psychology, received the Nathan Perry Career Service to Health Psychology Award from the American Psychological Association’s Health Psychology division.
