Paul Arthur, a rehabilitation science doctoral student, was invited to join the Gerontological Society of America’s delegation to the Chinese Congress and Exposition on Gerontology and the Health Industry.

Sarah Bauer, a doctoral student in health services research, received an intramural summer fellowship with the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality. She worked with senior economists at the Center for Delivery, Organization, and Markets.

Nicole Cranley, a doctoral student in the department of behavioral science and community health, was among only five finalists for the Best Student Research Award at the 2013 Work, Stress and Health Conference in Los Angeles.

Eugene Dunne and Lauren Hearn, doctoral students in the department of clinical and health psychology, each received a National Institute on Drug Abuse Women and Sex/Gender Differences Research Junior Travel Award to attend the College on Problems of Drug Dependence. 

Natalie Kelso, a doctoral student in the department of epidemiology, received a 2013 UF Health Cancer Center Research Day poster award.

Adam Reid, a doctoral student in the department of clinical and health psychology, received a Trainee Poster Travel Award for the 2014 International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation Conference. 

Cody Smith, a graduate student in the department of environmental and global health, was the first place recipient of the Molecular Biology Specialty Section Graduate Student Research Award, sponsored by the Society of Toxicology. 

Martin Wegman, a student in the M.D.-Ph.D. program and a doctoral candidate in the department of epidemiology in PHHP and the College of Medicine, received the national 2013 Medical Student Leadership Award from the American Medical Association.

Allison Curran, Allison Trainor and Sarai Vargas-Vera were among 61 University of Florida students to receive UF’s 2013 Presidential Service Awards.
