Shawna Dell, Au.D., a doctoral candidate in the department of speech, language, and hearing sciences, received the American Academy of Audiology’s Academy Research Conference Poster Presentation Scholarship.

 

Jenna Dietz, a Ph.D. student in clinical psychology, received the Walter G. McMillen Memorial Award for Parkinson’s Disease Research from the American Psychological Association’s Division on Adult Development and Aging.

 

Ellington Jones, a student in the master’s in health administration program, received second place in the graduate student division of the Richard J. Stull Student Essay Competition in Healthcare Management, sponsored by the American College of Healthcare Executives.

 

Lisa Nackers, M.P.H., a Ph.D. student in clinical psychology, received the Society of Behavioral Medicine’s 2012 Outstanding Dissertation Award. 

 

 

Iomi Patten, a student in the master’s in communication sciences and disorders program, was awarded member honors by the National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association.

 

 

Sarah Rivard, a student in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, received the 2012 Doctor of Physical Therapy Visionary Foundation scholarship.

 

 

Yanpin Wang, a doctoral student in biostatistics, received a 2012 Distinguished Student Paper Award from the International Biometric Society’s Eastern North American Region Committee.
