Mark Bishop, Ph.D., P.T., an assistant professor in the department of physical therapy, is a 2012 recipient of the Excellence Award for Assistant Professors, presented by UF’s Provost’s Office.

 

 

Sherrilene Classen, Ph.D., M.P.H., an associate professor in the department of occupational therapy and director of the UF Institute for Mobility, Activity and Participation, has been elected to the American Occupational Therapy Foundation’s Academy of Research.

 

Steven George, Ph.D., an associate professor in the department of physical therapy, received the Ulf Lindblom Young Investigator Award for Clinical Science from the International Association for the Study of Pain.

 

Alice Holmes, Ph.D., a professor in the department of speech, language, and hearing sciences, received the William R. Jones 2011 Outstanding Mentor Award from the Florida Education Fund.

 

 

Colleen Le Prell, Ph.D., an associate professor in the department of speech, language, and hearing sciences, has been named the director of education of the National Hearing Conservation Association for a one-year term.

 

Michael Robinson, Ph.D., a professor in the department of clinical and health psychology, is one of five universitywide recipients of the 2011-2012 UF Graduate School’s Doctoral Mentoring Award.

 

 

PHHP employees Robert Cook, M.D., M.P.H., Richelle Davis, Donovan Lott, Ph.D., P.T., and Donna Stilwell received UF Health Science Center Superior Accomplishment Awards. Michael Crary, Ph.D., received UF’s Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace Award.
