Michelle (Matteoli) Adams, bachelor’s in occupational therapy ’01, recently opened clinic space in Sarasota to house her practice, Pediatric Therapy Solutions, Inc.
Ronald Aldrich, master’s in health administration ’66, teaches a course in hospital and clinic administration at the University of New Mexico that is broadcast statewide to several rural communities. He is chair of the Board of Directors at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional Medical Center.
Tara Anderson, master’s in public health ’07, and Daniel Bagner, doctorate in clinical and health psychology ’07, each received UF’s Outstanding Young Alumni Award in April. Anderson recently completed her Ph.D. degree at the UF College of Veterinary Medicine and Bagner serves as an assistant professor of psychology at Florida International University.
Lynnette Bosse Bardolf, doctorate in communication sciences and disorders (audiology) ’06, was promoted to colonel in the U.S. Army. She serves as chief of the specialty services department at Lyster Army Health Clinic at Fort Rucker in Alabama.
Joseph Burkley, master’s in rehabilitation counseling ’07, is a peer review committee manager with the National Institutes of Health.
Cass (Brown) Capel, master’s in rehabilitation counseling ’79, was named director of Save Ourselves Breast Cancer Organization for the Sacramento area, a group she helped found 20 years ago. She has a private psychology practice in Sacramento and Auburn, Calif., where she lives with her husband and 11-year-old daughter.
Eileen Fennell, Ph.D. in psychology ’78 and professor emeritus of the PHHP department of clinical and health psychology, received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the International Neuropsychological Society Meeting.
Christina (Vaughn) Hampton, bachelor’s in health science ’07, married Evan Hampton on Oct. 3, 2010 in Norcross, Ga. Christina is a physical therapist at Shands Jacksonville.
Stephen Harris, master’s in health administration/master’s in business administration ’99, was appointed director of reimbursement at Tampa General Hospital.
Tiffani Brooke (Hill) Hinaman, bachelor’s in communication sciences and disorders ’02, and Brian Hinaman, master’s in occupational therapy ’01, were married on Nov. 6, 2010 in Gainesville. They live and work as therapists in Pinellas County, Fla.
Jessica (Powers) Johnson, master’s in occupational therapy ’07, married Eric Johnson on Oct. 10, 2010 in Highlands, NC. She works for Genesis Rehab Services in Amelia Island, Fla. as the program manager and occupational therapist.
Lindsey Kirsch-Darrow, Ph.D. in clinical psychology ’10, received a 2011 Young Investigator Award from the American Neuropsychiatric Association. She is currently completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins University.
Krystal Knight, master’s in public health ’09, is the state program and policy coordinator at the Medicare Rights Centers Washington, D.C. office.
Justin Krueger, master’s in health administration ’09, is the chief operating officer at Lehigh Regional Medical Center in Lehigh Acres, Fla.
Melissa Lanzone, master’s in public health ’08, is the volunteer programs coordinator for Suncoast Hospice in Pinellas County.
Alan Levine, master’s in health administration/master’s in business administration ’93, was appointed by Florida Gov. Rick Scott to UF’s Board of Trustees. He is the Division 3 president of Health Management Associates, Inc.
Lonn McDowell, master’s in health administration ’02, accepted a director position in the health care practice of Navigant Consulting, Inc.
Linda (Casazza) New, bachelor’s in health science, physician assistant ’92, was chosen as one of the top three physician assistants in the nation for the 2010 Dorland Health People Awards.
Kent Weaver, doctor of audiology ’01, is an audiologist at Woodard Hearing Centers in Iowa. He composed and performed soundtracks for the movies “An Ideal Life” and “Peace Patch,” which earned him two Awards of Achievement from the Iowa Motion Picture Association.
Master of public health alumni Helena Chapman, ’05, Kim Gokhale, ’08, William Billy Jeffries, ’08, Traci Krueger, ’07, Catherine Levonian, ’10, Cindy Prins, ’06, Katherine Roland, ’06, Arun Skaria, ’05, Cuc Tran, ’09, and Katherine Winter, ’07, were inducted into UF’s chapter of Delta Omega, the honorary society for graduate studies in public health.
