Paul Satz, Ph.D., the founder of UF’s neuropsychology program, performs a test in this mid-1960s photo. Dr. Satz directed the UF program from 1964 to 1979 and went on to establish similar programs at the University of Victoria and UCLA. He passed away in June after a long illness. Dr. Satz and one of his former students made generous gifts to the college to create the Dr. Paul Satz Term Professorship in the department of clinical and health psychology.
